Beautifully Inspired.

Hello 👋 my name is Derrick, and I am the founder of Faithreads. I am a Christian at heart and a graphic designer by trade. Faithreads is a part-time project run by myself and the advice of close friends and family. Faithreads has always been about finding the inspiration of God in the things we wear and use on a day to day basis. That could be clothes, accessories, or any number of lifestyle products that we sell. 

I started Faithreads as a way to express the joys I experience in my faith. The first ideas came from what I loved most about Christian music: its potential for poetry and how pure the messages were to my heart. I love Christian music, and Faithreads reflects that. The first collection I was so excited to design was the Hymn Inspired collection, and from there we were off to the races.

The story of Faithreads is just beginning. God had been working in my life so much that the idea of doing anything not related to my faith in Him was weighing on me. My creativity comes when I am thinking on Him, and in September 2023, the idea of Faithreads was born. 

I was so excited to start working, and on November 7th 2023, the doors to the faithreads.co website opened and the shop was ready to fulfill orders. Faithreads was open for business, but there is so much more to get done.

From the start, Faithreads has been built on supporting others through the profits made from any purchase. This includes a commitment to 20% of our total annual profits going to organizations around the world.
