Our Mission and Vision

One of the greatest parts of starting something new is the ability to form the path we see ahead of us. This isn't always possible, but in projects or businesses like Faithreads, it absolutely is.

Faithreads' mission is simple:

Love God, Love Others. Love You.

My first goal is to scale Faithreads to something not only sustainable for my life, but also the world. To start, I am committing a total of 20% of Faithreads' annual profits toward people and the planet. I recognize that money can't be thrown at every issue, so as Faithreads scales, I hope that we can start making a change to how our apparel is sourced and how our God-loving mission can make a people-loving change.

Although Faithreads is just getting started, the future couldn't be more clear. As Faithreads continues to grow in its products and revenue, these are the steps I hope to take:

  1. Increase the size of the shop: More designs, more products, more opportunities to become that staple in someone's wardrobe. Every piece of clothing can be a conversation starter, or even just an expression of someone's faith, and the more creative designs that go up on the shop the more opportunity there is to catch someone's eye.
  2. Scale Faithreads to be a sustainable endeavor to take full time: This one is a step I would love to take, but I understand can be a while out. In order to be able to work on the next parts of the business, I have to be able to focus on it whenever I can. Faithreads is currently a part-time passion project that I work on after my regular job. Making Faithreads full time will help with making future goals not only possible, but inevitable.
  3. Work toward net-zero clothing lines: We already have an option to make our shipping net-zero, but our clothing still is produced in conventional methods, using blanks sourced from other companies. Faithreads already commits to using only WRAP-certified companies and facilities, like those of Cotton Heritage and Bella+Canvas, whose factories meet the highest standards for human rights and environmental standards. But WRAP certification does not equal net-zero carbon emissions and resource use. I hope to have Faithreads use a net-zero of resources in some way without negatively impacting the quality of the products sold.

Growth is central to my vision for Faithreads. The only way I can do that is for interested people like you to share what you love about Faithreads and engage with me in helping make our products better. Whether that's just leaving a review or even spreading the word by becoming a Faithreads Affiliate, you can help Faithreads grow and also get some neat merch at the same time.

I hope you are looking forward to seeing Faithreads grow; I certainly am.

    Blessings,
